Our Process
WasteDry knows that we must create solutions to reduce our dependence on landfill space. To that end we have invested $20 million dollars in our plant in Philadelphia which will become the first in the nation to process waste sludge with high moisture content.
WasteDry has designed and patented a thermal drying system that uses gasification technology to reduce the volume of bio-solids in a ratio of 10 to 1.5. The application of the new technology will take ten tons of waste sludge and reduce it down to one and a half tons of ash that can be disposed of safely and effectively or used in multiple applications. That technology also utilizes a bag-house to collect the end product and eliminate particulates. In addition, the RTO/Pathogen furnace will destroy all VOC emissions thus further reducing its environmental footprint.
Our process requires auxiliary fuel. That fuel can be in the form of bio-gas which enables us to recycle an existing fuel source. And we continue to look for better, faster ways to reduce the amount of bio-solids we create everyday.
